The eroticism of hinduism softscreams.netKing and Queen of England visit Downton Abbey in a new film based on the beloved TV series, and now, so can you! The show's Highclere Castle location is now available to guests on Airbnb.
Complete with the pomp and circumstance you'd expect of an evening at Downton — including dinner and drinks with Highclere's own Earl and Countess of Carnarvon and being waited on by their butler — guests will also receive a private tour of the grounds and a one-night stay in one of the private bedrooms.
This is no ordinary Airbnb in that guests can only stay for one night, and this is hardly the place where you dump your luggage before leaving for other attractions. To stay at Highclere is to visitHighclere and immerse yourself as a Downton fan for one day and night. The castle has no TVs or wifi and is listed by actual English nobility.
Guests must have a verified Airbnb account, positive reviews, and "be passionate about Downton Abbey" (i.e., no fake fans).
Highclere Castle will only open up for reservations on Oct. 1, with actual visits beginning Nov. 26. Pricing begins at $159 per night.
