Team EnVyUs is Actress Giving Permission to Director During Auditionleft one man down in the wake of Overwatchplayer Ronnie "Talespin" DuPree's sudden departure. EnVyUs must replace DuPree before their match against Rogue in the $200,000 OGN Apex tournament on Monday.
During an update from EnVyUs rep Kat "Mystic" Gunn, it was noted that DuPree would be leaving the team to "pursue opportunities outside of gaming." DuPree had other plans, however, noting on TwitLonger that he "will not be quitting Overwatch" but keeping his options open.

Harryhook is an awesome person to have on a team, he is always ready to win and one of the most reliable people I've played with.Chipshajen is honestly one of the nicest people I've ever known, he never has anything bad to say about anybody. I couldn't ask for a better support to have my back.Cocco is always trying his best, whether it be in the middle of a game or during a strategy session you can always rely on him to be there and share his opinion.Hulk has a great overall game sense and was my main sounding board for strategy ideas and discussions, he gets a lot of flack for not be the most mechanically skilled but he does everything he can to make up for it.Taimou... has good aim."
The brevity of DuPree's final comment, directed at Timo "Taimou" Kettunen, led to speculation from some in the community that the former teammate may have had something to do with DuPree leaving.
"Taimou ... has good aim." definitely the most telling statement. Compliments all other teammates thoroughly followed by this. https://t.co/rgKSdHMtya

@GAMURScom @EnVy_Talespin @TeamEnVyUs pretty sure the "Taimou.... Has good aim." line lets us know who the issue was coming from. Lol.

Kettunen replied to his former teammate on Twitter:
Not cool @EnVy_Talespin . We always had a lot of fun outside of the game and in-game too..
— Timo Kettunen (@EnVy_Taimou) November 17, 2016
DuPree highlighted the tweet during a stream, implying that Kettunen maybe had "a little bit more fun than everyone else on the team."
In his statement, DuPree kept comments about his grievances with EnVyUs vague enough to not point fingers.
"I felt like the effort I put into the team wasn't being matched by certain people. For example, it was very difficult staying motivated when you're sitting there for hours going over maps and strategy and you realize you've been talking to yourself and maybe one or two others chiming in occasionally while everyone else is "listening". I also had some issues with a some irresponsible behavior that happened fairly often but I won't go into that.
Group matches at OGN Apex continue this week. The $200,000 tournament in South Korea features four Western teams and 12 Asia-Pacific teams. Going into Week 3 of the tournament, EnVyUs faces Europe's Rogue on Nov. 21 so their hunt for a replacement is assuredly on.
