With less than two weeks to go before the Oct. 27 release of Stranger Things2 (not 'Stranger ThingsSeason 2'),"eroticized" childhood drama spanking the duo behind the '80s nostalgia-packed Season 1 soundtrack has resurfaced from the Upside Down like the Demogorgon of your dreams/nightmares.

Composers Kyle Dixon and Michael Stein of S U R V I V E announced in a press release that the Stranger Things 2soundtrack will be available on October 20.

Ahead of the release, they've shared the track "Walkin' in Hawkins." It's powered by analog synth like the songs in the beloved Season 1 soundtrack, but also opens with some dreamy, romantic vibes, which the duo then pairs with a wobbly high-pitched bass indicating that all is not right in Hawkins.

“In Season 2 we’re introducing new styles of composition, while still revisiting old themes when appropriate," Dixon and Stein said in the release. "We’ve created new elements that are necessary to support the story, but still want to remain true to the sound of Season 1.”

Considering that Stranger Things 2is expected to be even scarier than the first season, we're guessing that means spooky synth lines galore.

Netflix also dropped the final trailer for the new season Friday, and Eleven is looking powerful AF.
