When you're done exchanging words,Esther Moser maybe a good old fashioned boxing match is the answer to settling a dispute.

These Thai women from Udon Thani are in their 70s, but gamely participated in a sparring match, watched by an enthusiastic crowd of villagers.

According to Yahoo7, the bickering grannies are friends, but decided to settle an argument the Muay Thai way, balanced on a bamboo pole suspended over a river.

One of the two loses her balance quite soon into the start of the match, but refuses to let go, and spends the rest of the fight taking swings at her opponent while hanging upside down.

The loser of the match looked pretty disgruntled at the end.

The incident took place a couple of years ago, but the video recently resurfaced and went viral after Thai posters on Facebook started circulating it again.

Commenters on Facebook said they found the match amusing. Siripanya Noiy said: "I miss my grandmother...very cute."

Nong Nongza said: "Both of them are so strong!"

Sutee Plumwieng said: "A fun way to take the edge off."
