Going outside on Watch Daddy Issues xxx movie 5 (2016)the 4th of July is super fun because there are barbecues and fireworks and...sunburn...and bugs? Yeah, nobody can blame you if you want to stay inside.
Luckily, many TV channels have anticipated people spending their free day off indoors, with the AC blasting, eating an ice pop, and watching hours and hours of television, so here are the best marathons airing on the holiday.

AMC plans to air the first three Jaws movies on the 4th of July (nobody wants to remember the fourth movie. In fact —what fourth Jawsmovie?) starting at 11:30 in the morning, and will repeat the three-movie marathon right afterwards. Say hi to ol' Bruce for me.
SyFy is famous for its Twilight Zonemarathons on the 4th of July, but this year the channel is replacing Rod Sterling with Freddy Kreuger and airing the first five original Nightmare on Elm Streetmovies and ending the marathon with a 4:30 showing of the 2010 remake starring Rooney Mara.
For those who would rather stay true to the meaning of the holiday, the History channel is hosting a marathon of its America: The Story of Usseries, which starts with the Revolutionary War and continues through the rise of America as a superpower on the global stage. Bonus points if you take a shot every time a character from Hamiltonshows up.
It makes sense that two all-American heroes would come together for a 4th of July marathon on FX, but there's a catch — the first movie aired at 7AM will be the original Tobey Macguire Spider-Man, which will be followed up by Andrew Garfield's The Amazing Spider-Manand The Amazing Spider-Man 2. Then the marathon will show Captain America: The First Avengerand Captain America: The Winter Soldier. No Civil War, unfortunately.
Some people want to watch reality show marathons or history lessons, others just want to hang out and like, watch a bunch of lizards lay their eggs and stuff. For the latter group, BBC America is airing 14 straight hours of Planet Earth, including a few episodes on how cool the ocean is and one on the future of humanity.
