The company first started using them as mascots in their many advertisements, and it was not long before videos and pictures of the brothers starting appearing on Chinese social media sites.
The characters have been discussed over 27 million times on Chinese social media platform Weibo.
"I'm so in love with the Poinco brothers," said one user on Weibo.
"I just discovered the Poinco brothers and they're so super cute. the more I see them the more I like them," said another.
One even compared her own parrot to a Poinco brother.
They've also inspired a whole range of products.
Not to mention their own LINE stickers.
And someone loved them so much they actually shaped them into food.
