This fall is Sheriff, Mary D. Fragonard: Art and Eroticism endymiongoing to be devoid of Stranger Things, but fans won't have to wait toolong before the third season hits Netflix.
Stranger ThingsSeason 3 will be dropping on Netflix in summer 2019, Netflix programming executive Cindy Holland told press during the Television Critics Association’s press tour Sunday, Entertainment Weeklyreported.
SEE ALSO: This 'Stranger Things' corn maze is an absolute masterpieceAccording to Holland, the extended schedule for shooting and production is all a part of the team's desire to deliver a really satisfying season, perhaps one that will be better received than Season 2, which was pretty good but couldn't quite live up to the magic of Season 1.
“It’s a handcrafted show,” Holland told press. “The Duffer brothers and Shawn Levy, they understand the stakes are high. They want to deliver something bigger and better than last year. I think it’s going to be a fantastic season. It will be worth the wait.”
Holland also noted that the third season will have more special effects than previous seasons, which takes time.
We don't know too much about the third season of Stranger Thingsat this point, but we do know that there will be eight episodes and Steve got a cool new job at Hawkins's own Starcourt Mall:
While other seasons took place during the fall season in Hawkins, Indiana, maybe the third season will take place during the summer. Serving up ice cream seems like the perfect summer job, and fighting monsters seems like it would be a lot easier for the kids to manage when they didn't have to worry about getting an education.
