FM radio has some new competition. Streaming giant Spotify just launched a new playlist called Your Daily Drive,I Wanna Cum Inside Your Mom 22 which combines music and news.
Your Daily Drive is a personalized playlist of your favorite songs and tracks Spotify thinks you'll like interspersed with short-form podcast news updates from The Wall Street Journal, National Public Radio, and Public Radio International.
"Escape from toggling between multiple stations to avoid music that isn't quite your speed," Spotify wrote in a Wednesday blog post announcing the new feature, which launched today for all U.S. users.
Expect new content every time you listen. Spotify said the playlist will update throughout the day with fresh music and news.
"Americans log 70 billion hours behind the wheel each year, with a big chunk of that time spent commuting to and from work or school," Spotify wrote. "To help make that time fly by, stay up to date on the world around you, and maybe even rock out to a few timeless classics, we are excited to introduce Your Daily Drive."
To access Your Daily Drive, head over to Your Library and tap "Made For You." You'll find Your Daily Drive alongside Your Daily Mixes and other personalized playlists such as Discover Weekly, Release Radar, and Your Trop Songs 2018.
Meanwhile, Spotify also recently launched a new Pandora-like standalone app dubbed Stations, which serves the indecisive listener. When you open Stations, it immediately starts to play music and presents you with a scrollable list of curated playlists. Previously only available in Australia, Stations arrived in the U.S. last week on iOS and Android.
