Giant pigs aren't exactly a common sight on Nathan Cajucom Archivesthe streets of southern California. But when one started tromping around in San Bernadino, local police came up with a solution that was equal parts ingenious and delicious.
Doritos.
The popular flavored tortilla chips turned out to be a very effective lure when it came to convincing the pig that it was time to return home. The San Bernadino County sheriff's office even documented the extremely scientific pig wrangling on Instagram.

Pigs might eat slop and roll around in the mud, but your dog would probably do the exact same thing given the opportunity. Aside from being the world's source of delicious meats like pork chops and bacon, pigs are all very smart and friendly creatures.
This big pig -- or his owner, at least -- has apparently crossed paths with the law. According to the Instagram post, Deputies Ponce and Berg knew exactly where the big fella needed to go "due to previous calls," so they used the Doritos to get him home safely.
Just a happy story of an escaped giant pig being reunited with his family to warm your heart on a Sunday.
