Bears. Beets. Baseball cleats.
That's how the quote goes now,Crazy Sex thanks to a 21-year-old baseball player named Matt Manning.
Manning, a Detroit Tigers prospect and hardcore fan of The Office, showed off his ridiculously cool custom cleats at Sunday night's MLB All-Star Futures Game.
The cleats, designed by Long Island's KD Custom Kicks, are a delightful ode to the NBC comedy. The right cleat features seven Dunder Mifflin employees: Michael Scott, Pam Beesley, Jim Halpert, Andy Bernard, Angela Martin, Dwight K. Schrute, and Kelly Kapoor. And the right cleat features the classic plaque from the opening credits.

Both cleats have a baby blue background with falling sheets of paper, and each Nike swoosh has been designed to resemble a sheet of loose leaf paper. They're absolutely gorgeous.
Last year, Manning reportedly began watching The Officebefore every game as a way to calm down.
"It’s my favorite show," Manning said, per the Detroit Free Press. "I watch The Officebefore every start. I try to get very mellowed out. I don't want to get too stressed about the game. That’s what I do."

"I kept going into the games, getting nervous," Manning, who currently pitches for the Erie SeaWolves told the publication. "You get to the field three hours before and have nothing to do... I just sat there and sort of un-check. I probably start watching about an hour before, when I’m heating up."
Manning claims to have seen the entire series seven times, and has a special place in his heart for Season 4, though he also loves the "basketball episode," which happens to be the fifth episode of the first season.
Between hockey and baseball, 2019 has truly been the year of The Office/sports crossovers. Perhaps football will be next!
