On President Barack Obama's last day in office983 Archives Ellen DeGeneres took a moment to share some memories created on The Ellen Showduring eight years of the Obama administration.
"I want to personally thank him for changing my life. I am a legally married woman because of him and so is my wife," DeGeneres explained.

"I love him, I love Michelle," she said, before starting the highlight reel of the best moments between herself and the 44th president.
The president has only stopped by the show twice, once in 2007 and again in 2016. The first lady on the other hand has made multiple appearances with Ellen: dancing, racing through a CVS, co-hosting and even challenging each other to a push-up competition.
Even one of the first pups, Bo Obama, makes a cameo in the tribute video, which also includes touching moments like Obama honoring the comedian or supporting same sex marriage, and hilariously doctored footage of the president being Ellen's #1 fan.
Just because it's the end of a historical presidency hopefully does not mean it is the end of Obama and Ellen magic. Our fingers are crossed.
