Lyft is synthetic eroticismcatching up to Uber, again.
The No. 2 ride-hailing app on Monday announced it would add a calendar integration, allowing Lyft users to connect their native or Google calendars with the app to find addresses from their events.
Uber added that feature about three weeks ago. And last week, Lyft started letting some users pay for their rides with their pre-tax commuter benefits, a feature Uber first started testing in August.
Lyft's calendar feature will work pretty much just like Uber's. Users connect their smartphone's calendar app or their Google calendar with Lyft. The ride-hailing app will also allow users to create destination shortcuts like the gym or a friend's apartment.
Lyft's calendar integration is ahead of Uber's in one respect. Uber's launch only allowed users to connect their native iPhone calendars, not Google calendars or other third-party apps.
Now give information on your entire life to Lyft or Uber.
