Listen up,imo sex videos April the giraffe fans: IT'S HAPPENING.
After weeks – incredibly, yes, this live birth cam has been going on for literal weeks, since February 24th – April the giraffe is finally letting her baby out into the world.
Update:April gave birth on April 15 at about 9:30 a.m. EST. Nearly 2 million people watched.
If you've been following this saga of anticipation and deceit since the beginning like we have, you know that doctors predicted April Fools' weekend would finally mark the arrival of April's baby. It was "imminent," they said. Imminent, shmimminent.
The irony is not lost that this is happening in the aftermath of April Fools' Day. It has been said many times leading up till now, but it has never been more true: We are all April's fools. We're fools in love with a giraffe who leads us on every damn day, but not anymore.
SEE ALSO: You guys, giraffe births are horrifying. Look away. That was, of course, after weeks of officials saying "any moment now!" Now, several weeks of many moments, a paid text alert service, and a new definition of the word "imminent" later, it's happening.
Not like the other times we faithfully pulled up the livestream, diverted attention from our jobs and our families for fear of missing the birth of a giraffe, which is apparently something the whole world is really into all of a sudden. This baby is coming. Queue up your office airplay and let the slimy miracle of life begin on the big screen.
