While it might seem like winter holidays were just a few days ago, it's already time to start thinking about spring break plans. Before prices skyrocket, check out this deal with Southwest that could save you hundreds on upcoming travel this spring.

Until 11:59 p.m. PT on Jan. 23, book one-way tickets on Southwest for as low as $69. This deal includes travel between Feb. 11 and May 22, but comes with a few blackout dates to destinations like Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and international locations.

With prices starting at just $69, now is the perfect time to plan that spring getaway to get out of your home's dreary weather, or head to a snowy destination for a skiing holiday of your dreams with unlimited hot chocolate.

Like all good things, this deal comes with some fine print. If you plan to leave the continental U.S. and head for Hawaii, Puerto Rico, or one of Southwest's international destinations, pay attention to the blackout dates between Feb. 13 and 16 and March 7 through April 19.

If your plans involve flying to the continental U.S. from Hawaii, Puerto Rico, or a Southwest international location, you have blackout dates from Feb. 21 until 23 and again from March 14 through April 27. But even with these blackout dates and destinations, the Southwest map covers plenty of great holiday getaway options.
