A man's seemingly chivalrous gesture010 Archivesheating up discussion on Chinese social media.
Pictures of the man wearing his girlfriend's pink heels started circulating on Weibo, after a user named Xie posted them.
Xie told the local papers [link in Chinese] that they were at a hospital, and the girlfriend was waiting to see the doctor. He had been wearing black sandals, and it appears that they swapped shoes because she found hers uncomfortable.
When their number was called, she reportedly offered to swap back, but he declined and took her hand, walking off to the clinic in her shoes.
People on Weibo are applauding his gesture. One said: "How do I get a boyfriend like that?"
Another said: "I'd probably go barefoot than suffer wearing heels."
