Is he traumatized by his run-in with not one but dozens of baby demogorgons? Is he still hung up on Nancy (or thirsting for Billy)? Or perhaps he feels morally bankrupt for selling out to big ice cream and working for the most ubiquitous monster of all: Capitalism.

Meanwhile, Robin looks to have the perfect customer-facing persona as she smiles and greets the camera promoting Starcourt. However, a character description released earlier this year by Netflix described her as "bored with her mundane day job." In her search for excitement, Robin "uncovers a dark secret in Hawkins."

Huh. Wonder what that could be.
