BeeJay (or Mr. B),Hindi Dubbed Archives the 26-pound cat who captured our hearts earlier this month, has acquired the two most important things for a cat in 2019: a forever home and an Instagram account.
After a careful selection process by Morris Animal Refuge, the Philadelphia shelter where Mr. B was up for adoption, the large and good boy has officially moved into his new house. He seems to be enjoying himself. In fact, he was spotted chasing a fleck of light in his new bathtub, which is a vital part of the acclimation process.

A born celebrity, Mr. B is also on Instagram under the handle @ChonkyMrB, a reference to the refuge's now-famous tweet. So far, there are three posts on his new page, including a nice video of Mr. B somehow purring and snoring at the same time.

The two-year-old cat's new owners also posted a kind message for their followers. "We saw this Instagram photo four hours after it was posted (this is actually the very screen shot I took when I saw him, and we agreed instantly we loved BeeJay already)," they wrote. "We know you'll love him as much as we do!"
And don't worry: BeeJay will be keeping his name.
For those wondering what sort of cat could be so enormous and wonderful, Mr. B is an American Shorthair, which can vary significantly in size from cat to cat. Mr. B is certainly on the vaster end of that spectrum.
