The Cubs were at the White House to celebrate their World Series victory. Center fielder Dexter Fowler showed off the kicks -- complete with presidential seal on the tongue and Obama's signature on the side -- on The Players' TribuneInstagram page.

Obama seemed pretty happy to see the Cubs, even though he's a fan of their crosstown rivals, the Chicago White Sox. He also made a joke about the team visiting less than a week before Donald Trump takes office.

"They said this day would never come," Obama said, according to ESPN. "I will say to the Cubs, it took you long enough. I only have four days left. You're just making it under the wire."

Last season's NBA MVP, Steph Curry, also unveiled a special shoe for Obama

Seeing as Curry and Under Armour were mocked last year for their "dad shoes," this might actually be a more appropriate sneaker for Obama, who has been known to crack a dad joke or two.
