"I wanted to bring my website back to what it used to be: something real and personal," wrote Rowling in an introductory piece. "This is a faithful representation of my writing desk, except that I haven’t put on the bits of stale popcorn and biscuit crumbs that usually litter the surface.
"Everything looks a bit tidier and cleaner than it really is, but after all, it’s only polite to make an effort for guests."
There isn't too much new stuff on the website yet, but at the bottom of the introduction (which is worth reading for the description of Rowling's writing room alone) there's a Fantastic BeastsFAQ section.

"With four more Beastsmovies to come, I decided my Christmas gift to wizard-lovers should be to answer some of the most frequently asked questions about the plot of the new franchise," wrote Rowling.
"There’s also a bonus FAQ, an oldie about Chamber of Secretsthat I’ve been asked at least once a week for nine years."
We won't go into all the FAQs here -- you can read them in full on Rowling's site -- but there are some good ones about the use of "Accio" and the nature of an Obscurus.
Get that website bookmarked asap, muggles.
