Taylor Swift's new single contains a crystal clear Kanye West reference,Girls in the Night Traffic and it's about to go down.
On Thursday, the 27-year-old 1989singer dropped a brand new singe, "Look What You Made Me Do," off her upcoming album Reputation ...and naturally fans immediately parsed the lyrics for Kanye/Kim subtext.
Surprisingly, they didn't have to read too deep into anything, because the new Taylor has no time for subtlety.
SEE ALSO: A first peek at Taylor Swift's 'Look What You Made Me Do' video is here and omgOne line in particular, in which Swift says, "I don't like your little games, don't like your tilted stage," has fans talking. Because, well, as many of us know Kanye's recent Saint Pablo tour included an unconventional stage suspended in the air.
Here he is on that stage, tilted:
Fans immediately picked up on the jab, and while it's definitely not the sickest burn in the world, quite frankly they seem to be chill with it.

The section of lyrics surrounding the reference reads as follows:
I don't like your little gamesDon't like your tilted stageThe role you made me playOf the fool, no, I don't like youI don't like your perfect crimeHow you laugh when you lieYou said the gun was mineIsn't cool, no, I don't like you (oh!)
And it's not the only possible link between the Kanye/Taylor feud on the track. Later on in the song, Taylor can be heard having a phone conversation, saying, "I'm sorry, the old Taylor can't come to the phone right now. Why? Oh 'cause she's dead!"
Naturally, fans made the connection to Swift's infamous phone call with Kanye, which Kim released to the public after Swift essentially denied it taking place.
