Stranger Thingsis the perfect Frankenstein-amalgam of classic '80s sci-fi films,Room Salon College Girls [Uncut] and for Season 2, the show is really leaning into those influences. A new poster shared on the Stranger ThingsTwitter was creepy enough on its own, and it happens to be a direct reference to the 1979 film Alien.

Everything about this poster is terrifying; the Upside Down dead goop stuff in the shape of an egg (is it...regenerating?), the barren landscape of that mysterious realm which resembles a dead planet or post-apocalyptic earth. And then there's this:
