That's the slightly concerning question the American people have been asking since the first lady was last spotted in the public eye on May 10. Though Melania reportedly underwent a "successful" kidney procedure on May 14 and needed some time to recover, she hasn't been seen in more than 20 days, which is bizarre as hell.
As The Hill reported on Sunday, after weeks in a very confusing state of hiding, the first lady is scheduled to attend Monday's Gold Star Families Memorial Day Reception with the president. Only one problem... it's closed to the press.

Media outlets began to speculate, Twitter users began sharing their conspiracy theories — ranging from Melania recovering from secret plastic surgery to the first lady having escaped the White House all together.

Trump makes things worseby saying "She's doing great... right there!" when asked about Melania. The president appeared to be pointing to a White House window, explaining, "she's looking at us right there." (Note: Despite the pointing no one saw any sign of Melania near the window.)

With rising concern, Melania decided to tweet on May 30 in an apparent attempt to ease the minds of Americans.
"I see the media is working overtime speculating where I am & what I'm doing," she wrote. "Rest assured, I'm here at the White House with my family, feeling great..."
