Apple issued a price adjustment notice to its channel partners yesterday,Uncut Archives cutting prices for all storage variants of the iPhone 16 Pro/Max series in China. Today, Apple also announced on its JD.com store that the iPhone 16 Pro/Max is receiving direct discounts of up to RMB 2,000 ($276). Notably, the 128GB iPhone 16 Pro is now eligible for China’s national subsidy program for the first time, bringing its final price down to just RMB 5,499($759). China’s nationwide smartphone purchase subsidy program launched on January 20, and will run through December 31, 2025.
