If you'll remember, the award for Best Actor went to Casey Affleck for his role in Manchester by the Sea. Affleck has come under intense, but not widespread, scrutiny for allegations of sexual harassment.
Affleck settled the case made against him out of court for an undisclosed amount of money.
A lot of people were rooting for Denzel Washington, nominated for his role in the adaptation of August Wilson's classic play Fences.
